This gentle smoothie is the perfect breakfast for non-morning people who find it difficult to eat first thing in the morning. It has everything you need from a breakfast while being easy on the tummy.

Gentle Green Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, I like to use a frozen banana
  • 3 Tbsp oats, you can use a little more or less, depending on how oaty you like things
  • 2 spoonfuls peanut butter, natural unsweetened peanut butter is best
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 280 ml (1.2 cups) unsweetened almond milk
  • A drizzle of maple syrup, to taste (optional)

Instructions 

  • Blend all ingredients until completely smooth.
