Parsnip & Cinnamon Butter Baby Puree

This perfectly smooth, creamy parsnip puree with cinnamon butter is an ideal introduction to parsnips for your baby and is sure to become one of their favorite dishes!

Ingredients

  • 3 medium, or 2 large parsnips, peeled and chopped
  • ½ Tbsp butter or coconut oil
  • 1/2- ¾ tsp cinnamon, depending on how strong you want the cinnamon flavor

Instructions 

  • Steam your parsnips. You can use a basket or stovetop steamer, a microwave steamer or even an Instant Pot. Keep steaming until the parsnips are super soft.
  • Meanwhile, prepare your cinnamon butter. Place the butter and cinnamon in a small bowl and mirowave for 30 seconds to get the cinnamon fragrant.
  • Blend your parsnips in a small food chopper, or with an immersion blender in a small bowl.
  • Mix in your cinnamon butter and serve.
