Cheesy nutmeg scrambled eggs for babies! This is a great protein packed meal for a baby or toddler, made extra appetizing with cheese and nutmeg for those foodie babies who love a little extra flavor. The perfect way to introduce eggs to your baby, and can be cooked in a couple of different ways to be most suitable for spoon feeding or baby led weaning.
Grease a small frying pan with a little butter. Heat to a low-medium heat.
Pour in the egg mixture and either (a) Use a whisk to constantly mix and whisk the eggs as they cook (for a fluffy, soft finish) or (b) allow the eggs to sit for 15 seconds and then use a spatula to very gently stir and fold the eggs, repeating a few times until they're cooked (for a chunkier finish that's easier to pick up with hands).
Notes
You want a cheese that melts nicely to ensure a creamy, soft finish. I like to use a grated mature cheddar cheese. Gouda would also work well.
